I've got one of Patagonia's helmet liners that's rubbery on the outside and slightly fuzzy on the inside. I can't remember their cutesy/macho name for it, but I'm sure it has one. I got it for ww paddling, and I've been very pleased. It's thin enough to wear under a helmet or other hat and provides an amazing amount of warmth. It completely covers my head and ears.
