I just went over my home page, in it I have a page devoted to "carving a
turn in a kayak..."

Problem is, I think I got it back ward... What I seem to recall
re-learning is that if I lift my right leg, the boat leans to the left, and
I carve to the right?

I think I got the physics wrong when I wrote the page, could someone
verify or point out where I'm wrong?

	Thanks,

		Tom...

Exactly right Tom. It seems counterintuitive that you would lean the boat
left to turn to the right, but that is how it works.

Thank You All!

So "Lift Right, Go Right" is the ticket... That is good, as it is what I
did the last time out...

When I think in terms of fluid dynamics, the hull when leaned makes 1/2 of
a venturi and it is the rounded part that is the area that makes a velocity
increase/pressure decrease then? OKAY! GOOD!

I'll make sure that the page reflects this sometime this weekend but-

I see the sunshine outside today and I think that perhaps it must be time
to take a little trip... :)

	Thank you all again!
