Contact the manufacturer and ask them for 2 sets of buttons and inner sleeves that they use on their 2 piece paddles. Another option may be to epoxy the middle and make a 3 piece paddle. Just make sure that the joint isn't where your hands are placed. cu -----Original Message----- From: owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net [mailto:owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net] On Behalf Of Tom_P_McAuliffe_at_fastmultimedia.com Sent: Friday, April 09, 1999 12:12 PM To: PaddleWise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subject: [Paddlewise] PaddleConversion No it's not _that_ of conversion... ;-0 although I think we'd all agree that one _can_ have a religious experience out there! But has anyone take a two piece paddle and made it a four piece so it'll fit through the hatch for an emergency paddle?? Can't I just make two cuts and get just-smaller shafts to 'put inside to attach the two new pieces snugly. Perhaps also put some sort of securing device there as well. What do you use for a stowable emergency paddle?
