Please! No cat skinning.
Cat skins make very poor kayak skins, it takes a lot of them to
cover one kayak, they often have claw holes in them making more leaks,
and the fur has many properties that play hob with water use.
For one thing, most of the cat skins in my house are hydrophobic which
would cause a kayak skinned with them to jump out of the water in an 
unpredictable manner, possibly causing injury to the paddler 
(and any bystanders).
Another problem, have you ever tried to get a large number of cats to
go in one direction at one time?.

Please, leave the cat skins on the cats.
