I lit up my hand one time and nonchalantly walked around camp using it for illumination
much to my companion's amusement. I just got back from camping in Bryce Canyon, Zion
etc, and I called Delta several times for their policy on stoves and they said 'fine'. I
left it home anyway, rather than risk having to leave it at the airport (which happened
to some aerial flares I had in my carry-on a while back).

Re: Catskinning; Actually Michael, I think the phrase referres to catfish, which need to
be skinned to be eaten. I think they would make an attractive skinboat.
(hey, thanks again for the radio; my bro gave me an Apelco 520 for my brithday (great
kid, he) so it's a back-up now).

Any you swamp cruisers have knowledge of electronic mosquito scamblers? I saw one for 15
bucks which was maybe 2"x2"x.5" said to run 500 hours on a [whatkindof?] battery. Somehow
slathering on Deet seems unhealthy.
