[Paddlewise] Zen

Hello Paddlewisers,

This is an update to the old thread on rolling your sea 
kayak with one of the spare paddle halves that is stored 
on the bow deck. A poster noted that he does not roll 
with half a paddle but puts his paddle together 
underwater and then rolls with it. Being the type of 
person who always loves a challenge I vowed to give this 
a try. Last Friday I gave this a try in a pool before 
teaching one of my sea kayaking classes and pulled it 
off. The poster was right when he stated that it is a 
zen activity.
