Yeh, Mark, we Canadians find it amazing that how you Yanks brag about WWII when we clearly saved your asses according to our national broadcasting system:-) And I bet few Americans learn about the American invasion of Toronto (or Muddy York as it was then, in the early 1800s). Canada employed our own special variation of the "scorched Earth" fallback defense that Russia has used so successfully against Napolean and Hilter: "The incredibly dull town defense". The Yanks seized York, and braced themselves for the counter-attack they were sure would come. And waited. And waited. Finally, after several days, their troops started dieing of boredom, and they retreated to the States. Let that be a warning. We're just as capable of being as boring now as we were then.
