Hello Everybody on this list

I'd appreciate whatever info anybody anybody here can help me with, but I'd like to reach particularly Scott in Southern Calif., and Rocky Contos. I know both the latter are surf-kayak loonies.....

Here's the story.....

Two of us are in the market for surfing kayaks. Both of us are 6'4" and weigh 220 lbs.

The Prijon Samurai is a disaster. It's comfortable for us but slower than a snail on a spinach vine.

I see Dick Wold advertising a new boat the Big Machine which he says is for heavy paddlers. Do you know anything about this kayak? Also his Das Boot. Both of these, according to his write up, will accomodate tall & heavy (up to 220 lb) paddlers. The question is: how well do they work?

In the 'results' column of Adventure Sports re Santa Cruz 1998 contest.... I don't see any of these boats in the top positions ? ? ?

What can you tell me?

I see a boat there called the UFO? Do you know anything about it?

Thanks for all the help any of you can give me!

We've got great surf today here in Barbados, I'll be putting in, in my Necky Groovy, in about an hour. We have Sunday _at_ 12.20PM.

BTW my Necky Groovy works quite fine.... I'm just looking to add another kayak to my fleet.
