I bought a Lightning Ultralight several years ago - and the next paddle I buy will likely be a Lightning Ultralight as well. If you buy one don't lend it to a paddling buddy, you'll never get it back! They're pricey, but in my estimation well worth every penny. The Broze brothers have quite a write-up about Lightning paddles on their web site - check out the Paddles section at www.marinerkayaks.com.
