I got one from CLC a few years ago to test on some of my folding kayaks (CLC's owner has several folding kayaks). I used it and then let people in the boathouse in downtown Manhattan borrow it for further feedback. When I went to retrieve it a few months later to return to Chris K. at CLC, I could find it. So I started asking around and one kayaker sheepishly fessed up that he had it squirreled away for his own use. I arranged for him to buy it from CLC. I have since gotten one for myself. I regularly switch it for the seats that come in folding kayaks that I test. Its advantage are: extreme tush comfort...the hard foam wraps around to softly caress your checks; very low center of gravity, its lowest point being just a half inch or so from the bottom of your boat--but the overall caressing of your fanny keeps your tailbonee from bearing all the pressure of your body; excellent lumbar support; and versatile in that it can be put in virtually any kayak, hard or soft sided. I get no commission or freebies for this endorsement. ralph -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ralph Diaz . . .
