My comment was about his paddle, not him.  Please read me words carefully. 

Also, my comment was obviously (or at least, I thought it was obvious)
sarcastic --- so much so that I didn't think it needed the silly :) mark.  I
made the comment since someone in our noble group had recently notified us
that most if not all store bought greenland paddles are not real greenland
paddles.

I can be quite arrogant when it comes to my area of prefessional expertise.
But in paddling matters, I  bow at the feet of my superiors.
