Mel Wrote.... snip the stats it looks like it has one down side: pack size. It packs to 24" X 7". As I have discovered on my Nebula (25" X 8") that eats up a lot of room in the kayak. You are right, the pack size and weight eliminate it from being a backpackers tent, however if you need to get it through a really small hatch, put the fly and the tent (and the stake/accessories) in two separate bags and you can save some size.
