I called Gatorade and they asked if it looked like mucus or cottonballs. I said yup, and they said I should call the 800 number. I said "I just did". He said it is food spoilage mold and that Gatorade must be refrigerated after opening. Even then, it's only good for 7 days. There are no preservatives in Gatorade and this is the reason it "blooms" so easily. He also claimed that the mold is not harmful. -----Original Message----- From: owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net [mailto:owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net] On Behalf Of dldecker_at_se.mediaone.net Sent: Thursday, April 29, 1999 5:04 PM To: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subject: RE: [Paddlewise] Use of "Hydration Systems"? and Gatoraid Gunk At 09:46 AM 4/29/99 -0400, dmccarty_at_us.ibm.com wrote: > > > >I rinse the bags with a mild bleach solution and then rinse again prior to >next use.
