        Nope, the reference was to something in very well-aged Vinegar.  So
far as I know nothing like this shows up in Gatorade.

            Curious coincidence:  Dan McCarty was a well respected
Commissioner of Agriculture in Florida years ago, and one of the College of
Agriculture Buildings at Univ. of Florida is named after him.  I recollect
taking a Bacteriology course in that building............
