Two Georges, Wow, thats a name from the past! Right next to the Banana Boat. Used to sneak into the Ol' B. Boat when I was underage to get drinks. There and Bostons in Delray. Course the legal age for booze was 18/19 at the time! 8-) I was down there last Xmas visiting friends, went down Atlantic Ave, and walked on the beach. Really was kinda wierd. Amazing how much the place has changed but also how much had not changed. To still see Bostons with a large crowd and loud music was very, very strange. Almost like I had never left...... The pizza place, I think was named Village Pizza, was on Congress and Boynton Beach Blvd. It was in the Publix shopping center on the south west corner. The pizza place was next to a Radio Shack. I used to work there right after High School, Atlantic Community H.S. GO WAR EAGLES! 8-) I ate mucho pizza from that place. They had a Mexican pizza that was really good. They used to send us pies that people had not picked up! What a Perk! 8-) They would tell us to crank up the music after we had closed and they provided the pizza. Course the Hallmark store did not really appreciate the finer aspects of Molly Hatchet and The Who played at loud levels. But what more can you expect out of 18 year olds after hours in a stereo shop? 8-) The owner at the time, was a women, who I think believed she was a witch. A good witch I hope. Had garlic over the cash register, and some sign in Latin that was supposed to keep the Werewolves at bay. I opened a freezer once, I said I was there a lot! 8-), and there was a frozen frog inside..... 8-) Hopefully not used as part of the Mexican Pizza...... One of the things that blows my mind is how much water was around me and I did not have a clue about sea kayaks. When I think of all of the opportunities to paddle down there I just wanna cry. I lived there for close to 10 years..... 8-( Are you on the IC or there abouts. I take it your not out west in what used to be cow pastures? At the time we lived in Gulfview Harbour just on the otherside of 95. Was way out west at the time.... Even the canals around the old house would have been fun to paddle in. No traffic to speak off and you could go for quite a while to get some good excercise...... Sigh.... Later...
