Chuck - I've had my Palm touring spraydeck (neoprene deck, cordura top coated with a whitish layer on the inside) for, I think, 5 or 6 years. So far I've been lucky, and it's not rubbed off on anything. It gets used 2-3 times a week 9 months of the year, and maybe 2-3 times a month during the coldest months. The seam between the deck and the top began to leak, so I re-dealed it with SeamSealer, and it's watertight again. Occasionally I think of getting a spraydeck with a neoprene body tube, but I don't do it. I've come to value the pocket at the front of my present skirt's body extension, as a great place to store the thermometer, anamometer, maybe a splashproof camera (in a sealed Ziplok bag), etc. Drysuit season is just about over. Yeaaaaah!
