> >BTW, we ended up ordering a Wenonah Ultra light kevlar Minnesota II. BWCA here we come! :) > >Mel |Hey, you don't get to say that I'm the "bad guy" here. We have kayaks, we |just ordered a new canoe, and don't forget the second tent I picked up last |month, plus all of the other assorted equipment. You're just going to have |to wait...... and... so... am... I.... (self-control, must remember |self-control, nice fiberglass kayak, oops, must control paddling urges...) :) |Juls :) If you have a kevlar canoe I think you need matching kevlar kayaks. Come on, Juls and Mel, its just a little more. You KNOW you really really really want those kevlar kayaks! That wonderful gel coat in the color of your dreams is calling YOU! Ya'll can even get the color to match the canoe! Think how heavy your old plastic kayaks feel as you struggle to hoist them thar barges on and off your vehicle. Once you start easily lifting that light and airy kevlar canoe, you just gonna have to have kevlar kayaks. How to pay? Can you say "Magic Plastic?" 8-) Sorry, just had to say that! I bought two kevlar kayaks after three years of hoisting a 65 pound canoe/barge up/down from/to my third floor balcony. Thank goodness that manglers never saw HOW I did that. I don't think they would have appreciated the block and tackle that was temporarily attached to the building! Course my downstairs neighbours had interesting conversations about the flying canoe going past their windows! 8-) Later...
