Surprisenly, when out in the ocean Sat and up on the Hudson Sun., I took the time to braid my hair first and then stuff the braid through the cap. After my sympathy experience when reading the above, I think I will take the time prior to every trip to braid my hair and give a visual to the back deck and anything placed on it. I do strive to become one with my boat but not in this manner.
