Greetings new to paddle wise and have been reading comments on sea anchors. During research for a open water crossing of the Gulf of Mexico I thought of building a sea anchor. During the research I discovered the Boulter of Earth's sea anchor, they had appeared to have worked out the kinks, which saved me a lot of trial, error and time. Their product work great and I really can not complain about their design ( nop, they did not sponsor me I paid full price) First one was purchased in 1995 and one purchased in 1997.The latter was improved by replacing some stainless steel fittings to nylon/plastic fittings Sleeping would not have been possible without a sea anchor. I take the sea anchor on all my trips in the open water, it's a asset to our safety arsenal
