I switched from feathered to un a couple of years ago and am very happy with that decision. However, I do still paddle feathered in a head wind if I get tired of fighting it. BUT . . . my awakening came from: > A woman I met described her first wet exit. As she was exiting, her > shoulder length hair somehow got caught up in some loose bungies. > I normally just pull my long hair through the back of the baseball caps. Surprisenly, when out in the ocean Sat and up on the Hudson Sun., I took the time to braid my hair first and then stuff the braid through the cap. After my sympathy experience when reading the above, I think I will take the time prior to every trip to braid my hair and give a visual to the back deck and anything placed on it. I do strive to become one with my boat but not in this manner. Although, I guess if it ever does happen I can just hack it off with my trusty River Shorty knife, right? > By the end of the trip, my booties were stinking worse than the rest of me > and I > like to keep the smell spread out equally. > I really like your style Clyde!
