[Paddlewise] Lake Superior Crossing

Hello all of you paddle wisers,

The group of sea kayakers who are planning a crossing 
from Thunder Bay to the Keweenaw Peninsula finished 
their training crossing on the Memorial Day weekend. We 
had a mixed bag of weather and everyone performed very 
well with a paddling pace over four miles per hour even 
after our weekend distance of 50 miles.

We will be launching from Thunder Bay on the evening of 
June 26 for our attempt at crossing Lake Superior.
