You can set it up a couple of ways. You can establish a ftp bin and leave it in there for people to get in both formats. I would use a compression program like Zipit (.zip) which is cross-platform to make sure it downloads in one piece. For Microsoft files like Excel, you can have the file as a clickable link. It needs to have the standard Excel extension which I can't remember off the top of my head. (.exl or ?) When people click on it it shows up as a a spreadsheet, esp. if they have Excel installed on their machine. It might work better with Windows. I can do some actual research if you want, but I'd go with the ftp option. Some compressions programs will bundle the info in a way that the file uncompresses when you double click, so you don't need the compression program on your computer.
