That's what the article says! But it's a tentative bite, and
they are likely to spit you out afterward. The article says
the sharks prefer soft, blubbery seals, and normally reject
anything firmer; it further notes that in 78 recorded attacks
on humans along the coast of California since 1926, there
have been only 8 fatalities.
