Re: [Paddlewise] Hobie Kayak

I've had a single seater Odyssey for 2 years... It's been a great boat
for me here in the flat waters on the west coast of Florida. It tracks
well & is lightweight (easy to Jeep top, although I did add a couple of
carrying straps). I test paddled (rented quite extensively), the
ScupperPro and Prism before deciding on the Hobie. The deciding factor
was that I found that I could cruise as fast on the Hobie as the other
2, which where 2 feet longer, but much heavier.

Recently though I have gotten the itch to go faster so I'm looking for a
used surf ski in the 18' range... anyone know of any??
