I can't recall who asked about the volume the body takes up inside the boat
or if anyone answered but I finally found something that might help.

The weight of feet, legs and hip region account for approximately 49% of
the body weight. This varies with fat content etc. and you would have to
vary the hip volume according to the depth of the boat.

Using the average body density (can't recall what it is but I am sure some
one out there knows you can calculate the volume.
