Hi-
I just finished a CLC West River 180 & in addition to the installed
footpegs, I bought a bunch of 3" and 3/4" minicell foam. I then used
the bulkhead as a pattern & made a "plug" out of the foam, with the
3/4" in front. It only has to about 2/3 the height of the hull. It is
amazingly comfortable. You might have to experiment to get the fit
right.
If it is cut right, it will stick in the end of the cokpit pretty
tightly.
I just pull the regular pegs out & stow them behind the seat.
