The last time I was paddling, a woman helped me lug the kayak up about 35
steps and onto the truck. While we were standing there talking, she said
she could see through my kayak. I said yeah, that fiberglass is pretty thin
and she said, "no, I can _really_ see through your kayak.

Upon closer expection I could _really_ see through several deep gouges.
Dunno how long they've been there or wether they are leaking or not. I do
know I've had some water in the rear compartment but had assumed that was
from a leaky bulkhead (I'll get some marine sealer stuff the next time I'm
near a marine store).

But what am I gonna do about the gouges? Epoxy and fiberlass?
