Reply to All is the same as reply to sender and all recipients. The one caveat that comes to mind, is a Reply All to a mailing list such as Paddlewise only works if you're an authorized "member" of that list. If you're not, your message will generally not actually go to that group. As an example if I had an e-mail like the following: From: Steve Cramer <cramer_at_coe.uga.edu> To: Paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net <Paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net>; saul_at_isomedia.com; billgates_at_microsoft.com; wilma_at_flintstone.com; Paddlefast_at_lists.net cc: Barney_at_list.rubble.org And I hit Reply to author, my message would only go to Steve Cramer. If I selected Reply All instead, my message would be sent from my computer to Steve, Paddlewise, Bill, Wilma, Paddlefast and Barney BUT It would not actually get to the Paddlefast list or the Barney List, because I don't subscribe to them, even if Steve does and his original message was posted by them. My computer would send the message, but those two lists would probably just delete my message automatically or possibly send a reply that my message was discarded because I am not an authorized user. I hope this makes the e-mail program a bit easier to understand. Thanks - Saul Disclaimer - most of the names in this example were made up *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************
