Because I had some experience with Pygmy Kayak's marine plywood kits, I bought two of their coaming kits (US$35 each) and assembled these so their widest dimension left about half an inch of clearance inside the washboards, which made for slightly different widths for the fore and aft coamings. They were saturated with two coats of System Three epoxy, sanded thoroughly, and finished with a coat of Z-Spar Captain's varnish. -- Dave Kruger Astoria, OR *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Tue Jul 13 1999 - 00:49:13 PDT
