Suzie, I am constantly fine tuning my fleet. Here is a quick run down. I started with a plastic Sea Lion. I loved it (and still do). A few months after that, I decided I needed to learn white water kayaking. So I bought a used Perception Dancer XT. 8 months after that, I decided I needed a faster boat. So I bought a Seda Glider (a really fast, Kevlar boat). 9 months later, I decided I needed a portable boat I could travel with. So I bought a Feathercraft Khatsalano. About 9 months after that, I decided to upgrade my white water boat, so I bought a Dagger Redline. That was maybe 10 months ago. I now am about to buy an ocean play boat (probably a Kevlar Looksha Sport), a creek boat (i.e. a high volume white water boat for big water), and a cheap plastic double kayak (for the kids) In about 9 months, I plan to buy a new racing boat (probably a Speedster --- though the Phantom sure looks good). In about 18 months, I will probably buy a Falcon 16 for my wife and 6 months after that, I'll probably sell my Glider and replace it with a Falcon 18. Oh yeah, and I need to buy a new house with a oversized three car garage to hold all my boats. --Tim > -----Original Message----- > From: Susie [SMTP:sghoule_at_radsafety.com] > Sent: Tuesday, July 13, 1999 12:56 PM > To: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net > Subject: [Paddlewise] When the itch?? > > Here is a question for all you paddlers out there with more than one boat. > When did you get the itch for the 2nd boat?
