The "itch" affects almost everyone who paddles eventually. Tim down in Oregon appears to have an advanced case of the itch.<g> I suspect he has a _very_ tolerant wife :-) The symptoms of this disease can sometimes be more severe in regions which offer easy access to both whitewater and flatwater (and open ocean which is usually anything BUT flat). So far I'm fairly stable with 2 sea kayaks, a WW canoe and a skiff, but am currently being tempted and tormented by a NautiRaid Raid2 folder and a Bell touring canoe. I admit to having an even more advanced case of this same disease regarding tools. I'm down to only 1 trip per month to the local hardware store.
