I like to think of it as my *intermediate* boat, perfect for all sorts of trips. Recently, two years after that purchase, I got a great deal on a Nigel Foster design, called the Rumour. Similar dimensions as the Hawk, but gosh, is it ever tippy. It is my *advanced* boat. Now I am in the market for a *beginner* boat, something very stable, large cockpit, plastic, that the average friend can get into and join me on my paddling excursions. Hopefully I will stop at three, but judging from the experiences of others on this list, I guess I shouldn't count on it! :) Sandy *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed Jul 14 1999 - 13:38:24 PDT
