i'm copying geno [malilgiaq's dad] on this, so he'll let me know if i'm wrong.
i think maybe the best thin is send geno the check's, and he can use western
union once, for all donations... when i shyttled maligiaq from dillon reservoir
to denver yesterday, geno informed me of all the help ralph diaz has generated,
and if everyone sticks to their words [which i think everyone will] then all
will work out ok, and maligiaq will be able to race!!

i especially want to thank ralph diaz and john winters for all their hard work
to make this possible for maligiaq. thanks goes to jackie fenton, our list mom,
for creatinging such a fantastic place for paddlers to gather, and truely support
each other, no matter their walks of life. mark zarn, owner of bonito boats, for
the loan of a greenland style boat, for maligiaq to train in [and give a fantastic
demo to the RMSKC at "paddlefest"] while he's in colorado... and of course to the
numerous denizens of the paddlewise mailing list, for without you, this would
never have happened.

thanks,

mark
