Hi folks,
i'm new to this list and fairly new to sea kayaking.
i'm also fairly addicted to it.
Right now i'm using a friend's eddyline falcon 18 ( i absolutely love this
boat, very fast, strong tracking, LOW initial stability) and am looking
for a kit for a boat with similar qualities.
My dilemma comes down to this:
Pygmy has done a good job of selling me on its kits.
I need exactly the right boat for the following -
I weigh about 160 lb; height about 5' 8 or 9"; want high cruising speed
and efficiency; seaworthiness for rough coastal surf; strength for
car-topping; enough volume for short camping trips; incomperable beauty
and reliability.
there you have it. The HP sounds really exciting to me, but I wonder
about how well it handles rough stuff, and the turning radius is something
like 1/2 kilometer. The coho might not track as well as I like, and might
expose too much boat to the wind.
I'd appreciate it is anyone out there has experience with either/both of
these boats. Help me keep from making a poor decision.

Thanks for your time,
	Bill Oetjen
