oops... sorry about that.  Evan's message was sent twice due to my
error.  But it is so simple and makes so much sense that maybe being
sent twice wasn't a bad thing :-)  Though I've never had to use it
for the purpose described, my bailing sponge always stays tied to my
boat seat so it is handy.  It is also very large and holds a *lot* of 
water.  

Thanks for the obvious and simple tip, Evan.
