>Does anyone have an update on Maligiaq's situation? Haven't heard >anything since Monday and was wondering about the progress. His kayak left our plant Monday evening shipped "Time Critical" and it sailed thorugh customs and arrived in Montreal early Wednesday morning. Michael Bradley and Maliguaq picked up the boat Thursday AM and when I heard from them on Thursday they had the paddles as well. Maliguaq was going to be doing a public demo at the Olympic Rowing Basin Friday evening and then prepare for the trials this weekend. This weekend there will be two preliminary races, a sprint and a longer race to weed out the weaker paddlers, Only the top 100 finishers in this weekend's race will be able to compete in the Traversee itself on the 8th. I will pass along information as I receive it.
