Thanks Wes!

I couldn't get off to the lake this past full moon, but reading your
report this hot, humid evening was great.

I have had the pleasure of spending many a hour on the water during full
moons, so reading about your "supprises" brought a smile to my face.

Two really big "sound" things come to mind, when I think of paddling at
night. One is the sound that salt cedar(or submerged cattails)makes as it
drags across the bottom of a folding kayak at night(VERY differant that
it makes in the light!), and the second is the single drop of water
falling off your paddle and the sound it makes in the silence of the
darkness(when you are being very still and just soaking in the moment).

Having had the pleasure? of hearing the sound that a grizzly makes as it
walks around your tent, the sounds that come from a lake at night rate a
close second in...,just pure magic!

Thanks for waking up my brain on a brainless weekend!!
