Can any of you speak to the quality of Gaia dry bags? How's the water tight
seal, how do they hold up? REI-outlet.com has some pretty good deals right
now on Gaia
bags. Locally it seems to be pretty much a Cascade Designs and Seattle Sports
market in dry bags and I was wondering if anyone was familiar w/ Gaia?

Thanks - Dan Williams

I've never seen them, but Sea Kayaker reviews them and others in the August
1999 issue (how timely!). They seem to like them and say they survive a
dunk test well (only a few drops inside). They also suggest the Cordura model
might be more robust and durable than the lighter nylon packcloth version.
