The Environment Canada weather broadcasts give a phone number to use to
hear the same information.  I've never made a note of it while in range
of the broadcast in BC.  Would someone in BC please post the number?

I just listened to the VHF weather report and the phone number they provided
to call for the same information is 604-666-3655. This is in the Vancouver
area, I believe each coast guard station provides a local number that you
can dial.

To recieve the Coastal British Columbia Marine Forecast on the internet
 the same as what is transmited on by VHF radio ) visit
http://weather.ec.gc.ca/text/fpcn20.wvr.htm .
