Paddlewise folks, Does anybody have experience in the Channel Islands off the coast of southern california? I am going to spend a week there on my parents powerboat (with a kayak). Kevin, I would recommend you buy Adventure Kayaking, Trips From Big Sur to San Diego, by Robert Mohle, published in 1998 by Wilderness Press. It includes a lot of good info about the Channel Islands. It should be easy to find on-line. Hi Kevin, Check out the several articles on our web site, in the library section. Too, get the cave books for each of Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands ("The Caves of ... Island") and read Joel Roger's article on paddling to Anacapa in his (now out of print) book, "The Hidden Coast."
