This got me thinking, with the talk of the ACA and the BCU recognizing the
Greenland style of paddling and teaching classes on it , did it get the
approval of the Greenland kayaking club (?) and or they helping out or
getting anything from it. Did they contact MALIGIAQ sense he is there
representative here? It is there heritage and I have not heard whether they
are involved or no. With the way the USA and the Brits are I would not be
surprised if they were not even contacted but hope they were. After
reading Greg Stamers article on the way MALIGIAQ paddles (
http://www.jacksonville.net/~dldecker/fskaGreenland.htm ) and talking to
several people and watching several videos of the accepted way of Greenland
paddling seems to differ from the way Greenlanders do it. So are we going
to be taught the right way ( Greenlanders way) or our own way USA and
Brittish. ??
