In my dreams I would have two kayaks hanging in my garage (damn, forgot to
measure when I bought the house last year, but very good point!!), so that I
could easily lower then onto the racks/saddles.

In reality the garage is still so full of crap that I have three boats
resting on some neat brackets made by Hardy ($35 pair - he advertises in Sea
Kayaker - especially his little wheelie yak transporter, but I can locate if
someone really wants me to), duly covered by waterproof fabric, on my Atrium
wall.

That doesn't count the four boats on the back deck (I have finally put two up
for sale ( Kiwi Kayaks 9' Tadpole that is good for fishing from as long as
you're not trying to keep up with anyone $350 - and Old Town Canoe's 13'
Dimension Solo that is super comfortable and stable with external sponsons
but I'm running out of storage space - $400). Well, I finally blurted out my
dirty little secret that I had hoarded while all of you were listing your
boats.

Well, since it is confession time, I might as well add that I also have
Seveylor's Fiji inflatable that I bought at the last minute to use during a
camping trip.
