Does anyone have information about kayaking and camping in Desolation Sound? My wife and I have recently begun kayaking and are looking to take a 4-6 day trip with our new boats. We live in Seattle so getting up there is not a problem. But we don't know which direction to go once we get there, what the tides/currents will be like, or what weather to expect in late September. I know this is a popular kayaking destination and was wondering if there were any resources on this area.
