Just to peg down the other end of the scale allow me to un-recommend the Chevy Astro/GMC Safari: *too tall *no gutters *can't position bracketry/bars close enough to the rear to prevent contact between boat and paint when loading with "Sweet Rolls" *must drill holes to get "decent" attachment to roof/bar spread *"decent" attachment to roof allows for significant vertical flex of bars/boat *won't fit in standard garage with bars attached ... Need I go on? Fortunately the vehicle has virtues in other areas.
