Discussions of clip-on sunglasses for prescription glasses and other
items in recent weeks are a reminder of the aging process. Today's NY
Times has another, albeit not paddling related.

The Metro Section has an interview with a fellow on Bill Bradley's
presidential campaign who was a team-mate of his back in Princeton. The
former team-mate is working in an office surrounded with young staff
members. As he looked around he said to the interviewer that he felt he
brought certain disadvantages and advantages to the campaign. "I can't
stay up all night, but I think I know more. If I can remember it." :-)

ralph diaz (who regularly massages his memory by pondering where he last
left the car in alternate-side street parking in his vast Westside
neighborhood and what gear he left with which stored boat, neither easy
tasks)

"Where's your sea kayak?"----"It's in the bag."
