I can not think of a world with out the great bears, and my worst fear is too many people in "their" world and not giving them the space and respect they deserve. Bears are normally solatary and secretive animals, and when given the choice, usually choose to not interact with man. Only by our being careless in our camping do we create problem bears. Part of the magic and mystsk sp? of the wilderness is animals like the bears. Do the woods, animals, yourself, and the campers that follow a favor and practice clean camp practices.
