I gather Grizzlies cover their kill to let it get good and ripe before eating it (that's why playing dead during a Grizzly attack might work). Better to fight a black bear, they will eat you freshly killed. There was once a rape repellant on the market. It was a small vial that you could snap and put on your clothes or yourself. The concentrated odor of Skunk! Not pleasant but better than being raped or eaten.
