Hi Julf,
Welcome to paddlewise!  My brother just finished a 3-month internship in
Helsinki, and was able to do a bit of kayaking near there.  He also said
that there were no tides to speak of.

He's traveling in Sweden and Norway now and will do some more touring in
the rest of Europe in the next couple of months--I sure envy him!

Enjoy the conversations here on Paddlewise--there are some very
well-educated paddlers and they contribute a lot of knowledge here
