On the subject of first aid I believe in being prepared for the unique ways
paddlers get injured.

I carry:

3x3 gause bandages- a cut that gets wet bleeds a lot.

Surgical scrub- (hibiclens) for cleaning out barnacle cuts...easily infected
due to the organic matter

triple antibotic ointment-the gel like ointment stays on wounds

moleskin- for blisters

anti-imflamitories (Ibprophem)- for joint aches and tendonities

percogesic- pain killer and muscle relaxant (I'm getting older, can you tell?)

pepto bismo- for cooking mistakes

butterfly bandages- temporary stiches

eye drops-

benedryl-for allegeric reactions

oil of clove- for toothache
