Hi guys Returning briefly to the hot weather vs. PFD's debate: I finally tried out a friend's inflatable PFD the other day. Even popped the cartridge, at her request. I was really impressed at the buoyancy. The thing that really sells me is that with it on and uninflated, it's comfortable, and if you get a wee bit nervous you can blow it up by mouth, thus not "wasting" a CO2 cartridge. I'm getting one, and promise never to paddle without it on, even in So. Fla. ("Never?" "Well, hardly ever."...)
